Mexican Tarte Tatin
A twist on the classic French dessert, with the bold flavors of Mexico. The sweetness of the tarte meets the spiciness of the Mexican chili powder.
Ingredients
- β1 1 sheet of light puff pastrythawed
- β1/4 cup 1/4 cup of burrata cheesecrumbled
- β1/4 cup 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantrochopped
- β1/4 cup 1/4 cup of honey
- β1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- β1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon of cumin

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

In a small bowl, mix together the honey, chili powder, and cumin.

Spread the honey mixture evenly over the center of the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Top the honey mixture with the crumbled burrata cheese.

Fold the edges of the puff pastry up over the filling, pressing gently to seal.

Transfer the tarte to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
