Gluten-Free Frankfurter Dumplings
A hearty, malaysian-inspired twist on traditional dumplings, featuring frankfurter sausages and a gluten-free wrapper.
Ingredients
- β4 Frankfurter sausagesGluten-free sausages
- β8-10 Gluten-free dumpling wrappersAvailable at most Asian grocery stores
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oilFor frying dumplings
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauceFor added flavor
- β1/4 cup Chopped scallionsFor garnish
- β1 tablespoon Grated gingerFor added flavor
- β1 tablespoon Sesame oilFor added flavor
- βto taste SaltFor added flavor
- βto taste Black pepperFor added flavor
- β1/4 cup Chopped cilantroFor garnish

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook the dumplings for 10-12 minutes, or until they float to the surface.

While the dumplings are cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the frankfurter sausages to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until browned.

Add the soy sauce, grated ginger, and sesame oil to the skillet and stir to combine.

Once the dumplings are done cooking, carefully remove them from the water with a slotted spoon and add them to the skillet with the sausages.

Serve the dumplings hot, garnished with chopped scallions, cilantro, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
