Portuguese Seed Casserole
A hearty, comforting casserole filled with flavorful portuguese sausage and crunchy poppy seeds, perfect for a chilly evening.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Portuguese Sausage
- ●2 cups White Rice
- ●1 can Canned Diced Tomatoes
- ●2 tablespoons Poppy Seeds
- ●2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- ●1 medium Onion
- ●3 cloves Garlic
- ●1 cup Cheddar Cheese
- ●1 cup Hearty Bread Cubes
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the white rice according to package instructions.

Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until softened.

Add the portuguese sausage and cook until browned.

Stir in diced tomatoes and bring to a simmer.

In a separate bowl, mix poppy seeds and cheddar cheese.
