Traditional Croatian Lamb Kebabs
A hearty and flavorful dish from the Balkans, perfect for a warm evening. Marinated lamb is grilled to perfection on skewers.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Lamb shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubespreferably with the bone
- β1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oilfor marinating
- β3 cloves Garlic, mincedfor marinating
- β2 tablespoons Fresh rosemary, choppedfor marinating
- β1 teaspoon Saltfor seasoning
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepperfor seasoning
- β1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakesfor some heat

In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and mix until coated.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Grill the lamb kebabs for 8-10 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
