Smoked Mackerel Ceviche
A refreshing Peruvian-inspired ceviche dish featuring smoked mackerel. Perfect for a light and zesty meal.
Ingredients
- β240g Smoked MackerelDiced
- β1 cup Peruvian CornFresh or frozen
- β1/2 cup Red OnionThinly sliced
- β1/4 cup Fresh CilantroChopped
- β2 tbsp Lime JuiceFreshly squeezed
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- β1 tsp Aji Amarillo PepperDiced (optional)

Rinse the diced mackerel under cold water, pat dry with a paper towel.

In a large bowl, combine the mackerel, Peruvian corn, red onion, and chopped cilantro.

Squeeze the lime juice over the top of the mixture and toss to coat.

Season with salt, black pepper, and aji amarillo pepper (if using).

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Just before serving, stir the mixture and adjust the seasoning if needed.
