Smoked Fish Biryani
A flavorful and aromatic dish that combines the richness of smoked fish with the spices of Syrian biryani.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Smoked Fish
- β2 cups Basmati Riceuncooked
- β1 large Onion
- β2 inches Ginger
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1 teaspoon Cumin
- β1 teaspoon Coriander
- β1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
- β1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- βto taste Salt

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add onion, ginger, and garlic; sautΓ© until onion is translucent.

Add cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cayenne pepper; stir for 1 minute.

Add smoked fish; flake with a fork until fish is well-coated with spice mixture.

Add basmati rice; stir to combine with fish and spice mixture.

Add 2 cups of water; bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
