Smoked Pork Dumplings
Delicious smoked pork dumplings made with a hearty German-inspired filling, wrapped in flaky puff pastry, and steamed to perfection.
Ingredients
- β1 sheet Puff Pastry
- β1/2 pound Smoked Pork Fillet
- β1/2 cup Chopped Onion
- β1 cup Chopped Cabbage
- β2 inches Ginger
- β2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Preheat the steamer.

In a mixing bowl, combine the smoked pork fillet, chopped onion, chopped cabbage, ginger, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

Use a round cookie cutter to cut out circles of puff pastry.

Place 1 tablespoon of the smoked pork mixture onto the center of each puff pastry circle.

Fold the pastry in half to form a half-moon shape, and press the edges to seal.

Place the dumplings in the steamer, leaving about 1 inch of space between each dumpling.
