Argentinian Beef Empanadas
A classic Argentinian dish, these beef empanadas are a flavorful and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Beef
- β1 medium, diced Onion
- β2 cloves, minced Garlic
- β1, diced Hard-Boiled Egg
- β1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley
- β2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- β1 teaspoon Argentinian Beef Seasoning
- β1 Egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the hard-boiled egg, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and Argentinian beef seasoning.

In a large bowl, combine the flour and a pinch of salt. Add the beaten egg and mix until the dough comes together.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Divide the dough into 8-10 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and flatten it slightly into a disk shape.

Place a tablespoon of the beef mixture onto the center of each disk. Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal the empanada.

Brush the tops of the empanadas with a little water and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
