Portuguese Duck Pate
A rich and savory Portuguese-style duck pate, perfect for spreading on crackers or bread.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Heavily Sugared Duck Liver
- ●1/2 cup Pork Fat
- ●1 medium Onion
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1 teaspoon Salt
- ●1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- ●1/4 cup Parsleychopped

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Rinse the duck liver and pat it dry with paper towels.

3. In a skillet, heat the pork fat over medium heat.

4. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

5. Add the duck liver to the skillet and cook until browned.

6. In a blender or food processor, combine the cooked duck liver mixture, salt, and pepper.

8. Stir in the chopped parsley.

9. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
