Bengali Chickpea Paratha Wrap
A flavorful and easy-to-make Indian-inspired wrap filled with spiced chickpeas, served in a crispy paratha.
Ingredients
- β1 can (15 oz) Chickpeas
- β1 tsp Garam Masala
- β1 tsp Cumin
- β1 tsp Coriander
- β2 tbsp Herbaceous Chutney
- βto taste Salt
- βchopped (for garnish) Fresh cilantro
- β2 tbsp Butterfor brushing paratha
- β1-2 (depending on size) Paratha

Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

In a bowl, mix together chickpeas, garam masala, cumin, coriander, salt, and herbaceous chutney.

Brush the paratha with butter and cook for 1-2 minutes or until it starts to puff up.

Flip the paratha and cook for another minute.

Spoon the chickpea mixture onto one half of the paratha and fold the other half over to enclose.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the paratha is crispy and the filling is heated through.

Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
