Algerian Tagine
A flavorful and aromatic Algerian stew made with potatoes and a blend of herbs. This dish is perfect for a cold evening.
Ingredients
- β2 large potatoes
- β2 tbsp algerian spice mix
- β1/4 cup crumbly goat cheese
- β1/4 cup fresh parsley
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β2 cups herbal tea
- β1 tsp tagine spice mix
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the algerian spice mix and tagine spice mix and cook for 1 minute.

Add the potatoes and cook for 5 minutes, or until they start to brown.

Add the herbal tea and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Stir in the crumbly goat cheese until melted.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
