Moroccan Chicken Tagine
A classic North African dish made with chicken, herbs, and spices, slow-cooked in a clay pot.

Ingredients
- β1 lb chicken breastcut into 8 pieces
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 inches gingergrated
- β2 tsp cumin
- β2 tsp coriander
- β1 tsp paprika
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp black pepper
- β2 cups chicken broth
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β1/4 cup fresh parsleychopped

Instructions

Heat the oil in the bottom of a clay tagine or Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the spices, broth, and herbs, and stir to combine.

Bring to a boil, then cover and transfer to the oven.
