Sticky Yakitori Chicken Skewers
A simple, flavorful, and easy-to-make Chinese-inspired dish featuring marinated yakitori chicken grilled to perfection. Serve as a snack or appetizer.

- β1 pound yakitoricut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 cup rocketchopped
- β2 tablespoons soy saucedivided
- β1 tablespoon honeydivided
- β1 tablespoon rice vinegardivided
- β1/4 teaspoon hot sauceoptional
- βto taste black pepper

1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar.

3. Add the yakitori pieces to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.

4. Thread the marinated yakitori onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

5. Brush the grill with oil to prevent sticking.

6. Grill the yakitori skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through.

7. Meanwhile, combine the remaining 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1/4 teaspoon of hot sauce (if using) in a small bowl.
