Saudi Arabian-Style Lentil Kebabs
A flavorful and spicy twist on traditional kebabs, made with tender lentils and marinated in a blend of Arabian spices. This dish is perfect for a quick and easy dinner or lunch.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Red lentils
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1-inch piece Ginger
- β1 tsp Cumin
- β1 tsp Coriander
- β1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oil
Instructions

Rinse the lentils and soak them in water for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the onion, garlic, and ginger to the pan and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the pan and cook for 1 minute.

Add the lentils to the pan and stir to combine with the spice mixture.

Cook the lentils for 10-12 minutes or until they are tender.

Using your hands, shape the lentil mixture into small kebabs.
