Venezuelan Ceviche
A refreshing and zesty dish from Venezuela, made with raw fish marinated in citrus juices. This recipe is perfect for a light lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Fresh snapper
- β1/2 cup Lime juice
- β1/4 cup Ceviche mix (onion, garlic, aji amarillo pepper)
- β1 Kiwifruitpeeled and chopped
- β2 tbsp Venezuelan aji amarillo pepper sauce (optional)
- βto taste Salt
- βchopped Fresh cilantro
Instructions

Cut the fish into small pieces and place in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix together lime juice, ceviche mix, and aji amarillo pepper sauce (if using).

Pour the lime juice mixture over the fish and mix well.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the fish to marinate.

Just before serving, stir in chopped kiwifruit and cilantro.

Season with salt to taste.
