Argentinian Pilaf with Winey Twist
A flavorful and aromatic pilaf dish with the twist of winey flavors, perfect for a dinner or special occasion.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Argentinian rice
- β1 tsp Pilaf spice blend
- β1/4 cup Wine (white or red, dry)
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1 small Onion
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β2 tbsp Tomato paste
- β2 cups Water
- βto taste Salt
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add wine and cook until almost completely reduced, stirring occasionally.

Add pilaf spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Add rice and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add water and salt, bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
