Argentinian Paella
A traditional Spanish dish with an Argentinian twist, perfect for a hearty dinner. This recipe features savory sausage and flavorful seafood.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Argentinian sausagepreferably chorizo
- β1 cup showyfor garnish
- β1 cup icyice-cold water to cook rice
- β1 cup paellauncooked medium-grain rice
- β2 cups tomatochopped, for flavor
- β3 cloves garlicminced, for flavor
- β1 cup onionchopped, for flavor
- β1 cup pepperschopped, for flavor
- β2 tablespoons tomato pastefor flavor
- β1/4 cup olive oilfor cooking

Heat olive oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.

Add onion and peppers to the pan and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add rice to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add icy water to the pan and bring to a boil.
