German Potato Fritters
Crispy potato fritters, a classic German vegetarian dish, ideal for a snack or side.
Ingredients
- β2 large Potatoes
- β1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- β1 teaspoon Baking powder
- β1 large Egg
- β2 tablespoons Butter, melted
- βto taste Salt
- βfor frying Incredibly crunchy vegetable oil

Peel and grate the potatoes.

Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes using a cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

Add the egg and melted butter to the bowl and mix until just combined.

Add the grated potatoes to the bowl and mix until a thick batter forms.

Heat the incredibly crunchy vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
