Pork and Vegetable Dumplings
A twist on the classic American pork and vegetable dish, served in a delightful dumpling format. Perfect for a cozy dinner or lunch.
Ingredients
- β1 pound pork shoulder, groundMake sure to cook the pork to an internal temperature of 160Β°F (71Β°C)
- β2 cups all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup water
- β1/2 cup pork broth
- β1/4 cup vegetable oil
- β1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- β1/2 cup carrot, finely chopped
- β1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepper

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, onion, carrot, celery, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until combined.

In a separate bowl, mix together flour and water to form a dough.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Use a cookie cutter or a glass to cut out circles of dough.

Place a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center of each dough circle.

Dip your finger in water and run it along the edge of the dough.

Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal.

Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
