Pav Bhaji with Rigatoni Twist
A creative fusion of Indian street food with Italian rigatoni. This indulgent dish combines pillowy pav bread with a spicy bhaji filling, served with a side of rigatoni.
Ingredients
- β1 cup rigatoni
- β4-6 pieces pav
- β2 cups bhaji
- β1 medium onion
- β3 cloves garlic
- β2 medium tomato
- β1 medium bell pepper
- β1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- β1 teaspoon coriander powder
- β1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- β1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- βto taste salt
- β2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions

Cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pan and sautΓ© until the vegetables are soft.

Add the tomato, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder to the pan. Mix well.

Add the cooked bhaji to the pan and mix well. Season with salt to taste.

Add the lemon juice to the pan and mix well.

To assemble the dish, place a few pieces of pav on a plate, followed by a spoonful of the bhaji mixture.

Add a serving of rigatoni on top of the pav and bhaji mixture.
