Vietnamese Bao Dessert
A sweet and indulgent Vietnamese dessert featuring soft bao filled with a creamy and sour filling.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup Heavy CreamChilled in the refrigerator
- ●2 tablespoons Lime JuiceFreshly squeezed
- ●2 tablespoons Granulated SugarAdjust to taste

2. In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, lime juice, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture reaches 170°F (77°C) on a candy thermometer.

3. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool slightly.

4. Cut the bao in half horizontally and fill each piece with the cooled cream mixture.

5. Place the filled bao on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bao are lightly toasted.
