Spicy Moroccan Frankfurter Briouat
A fusion of Moroccan and American flavors, this indulgent briouat wraps a spicy frankfurter in flaky pastry, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

- β1 package Briouat Pastry SheetsThawed
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β2 inches GingerGrated
- β1 tsp CuminGround
- β1/2 tsp Cayenne PepperOptional
- β1/4 tsp SaltTo taste
- β1 EggBeaten (for egg wash)

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the briouat pastry sheets to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Cut the pastry into squares, about 3 inches per side.

Place a frankfurter in the center of each square.

Add chopped onion, grated ginger, cumin, cayenne pepper (if using), and salt on top of the frankfurter.

Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden glaze.
