Hazelnut Paella
A rich and aromatic Paella dish infused with hazelnuts and traditional Portuguese flavors.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup Uncooked Spanish rice
- ●2 cups Vegetable broth
- ●2 tablespoons Olive oilfor sautéing
- ●1 medium, diced Onionfor sautéing
- ●3 cloves, minced Garlicfor sautéing
- ●1/2 cup, chopped Hazelnuts
- ●1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- ●1/2 teaspoon Safron threads
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black pepper
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until softened.

Add the chopped hazelnuts and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add the uncooked Spanish rice and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the vegetable broth, smoked paprika, saffron threads, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes.
