Slovakian Creamy Tart
A traditional Slovakian dessert with a creamy twist. This dish is perfect for a dinner or a special occasion.
Ingredients
- β1 package Almond pastry doughhomemade or store-bought
- β1 cup Slovakian sour creamor regular sour cream
- β1 cup Granulated sugaradjust to taste
- β2 Large eggsat room temperature
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla extractor to taste
- β1 cup Tart cherriesfresh or frozen
- β1 cup Confectioners' sugarfor dusting
- β1/2 cup Unsalted buttermelted

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the almond pastry dough and place it in a tart pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Pour the sour cream mixture into the tart crust and smooth the top.

Arrange the tart cherries on top of the sour cream mixture.

Dot the top of the tart with the melted butter.
