Ethiopian Hazelnut Pilaf

- β1 1/2 tsp Intense Ethiopian Spice Blend
- β1 cup Malty Basmati Rice
- β1/4 cup Hazelnutschopped
- β2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- β1 small Onion
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β2 cups Pilaf
- β2 cups Water
- βto taste Salt

Instructions

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.

Add onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add rice and stir to coat with oil and spice mixture.

Add pilaf, water, and salt. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

Fluff with a fork and stir in chopped hazelnuts.
