Sauerbraten Fried Rice
A German-inspired twist on traditional fried rice, featuring a tangy sauerbraten sauce and savory flavor.
Ingredients
- β1 cup sauerkraut
- β2 tsp french mustard
- β1 tsp chinese rice vinegar
- β2 cups rice
- β1 cup tomatoes
- β1/2 cup onion
- β1 clove garlic
- β1/4 cup fried shallots
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, 3-4 minutes.

Add the sauerkraut, mustard, and vinegar. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the rice to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
