Irish Fish Skewers
Deliciously flavorful Irish fish skewers, marinated in a rich Chinese-inspired sauce.
Ingredients
- β4 Irish fish fillets (cod or haddock)cut into 1-inch chunks
- β2 tablespoons Irish whiskeyfor marinade
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Honey
- β2 inches Gingergrated
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oilfor brushing skewers
- β1/4 cup Sesame seedsoptional
- β1/4 cup Green onionschopped (optional)

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, whisk together whiskey, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic.

Add the fish chunks to the marinade and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Thread the marinated fish onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Brush the skewers with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper.

Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Transfer the skewers to a serving platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions (if using).
