Brazilian Roast Chicken
A delicious and flavorful Brazilian-inspired roasted chicken dish, perfect for a special occasion. The intense flavors of the roasted spices and the richness of the chicken make for a mouth-watering experience.
Ingredients
- ●1 whole chicken (3-4 lbs) chicken
- ●2 tbsp roasted garlic powder roasted
- ●2 tbsp cachaça or substitute with white wine brazilian
- ●1 tsp smoked paprika intensely
- ●1 tsp salt salt
- ●1/2 tsp black pepper black pepper
- ●2 tbsp olive oil olive oil

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix together the roasted garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get some under the skin as well.

Drizzle the cachaça or white wine over the chicken, then rub it in with your hands to coat.

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the chicken on all sides until browned, about 5 minutes per side.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast the chicken for 25-30 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
