Saudi Beef Shawarma
A popular street food in Saudi Arabia, this shawarma recipe features thinly sliced beef, roasted to perfection and served in a warm flatbread with fresh tomatoes.
Ingredients
- β1 pound (450g), thinly sliced beef
- β2 large, sliced tomatoes
- β4-6 pieces flatbread
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

3. Add the sliced beef to the bowl and toss to coat.

4. Grill the beef for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

5. Warm the flatbread by wrapping it in foil and heating it in the oven at 350Β°F (180Β°C) for 5 minutes.
