Ligurian Kipper Pasta
A simple yet flavorful pasta dish featuring kippers and a tangy Ligurian sauce.
Ingredients
- ●2 Kipper fillets
- ●3 tablespoons Ligurian olive oil
- ●3 cloves Garlic
- ●1/4 cup Fresh parsley
- ● Salt
- ● Black pepper
- ●8 oz Pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
- ●1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.

In a separate pan, heat the Ligurian olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the kipper fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked through.

Remove the kipper from the pan and set aside.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the garlic and oil. Toss to combine.

Add the fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper to the pasta and toss to combine.

Squeeze the lemon juice over the pasta and toss to combine.
