Valencian Paella with Smoky Flavor
A classic Spanish paella dish with a smoky twist, combining the flavors of valencian rice with a smoky spice blend and succulent gambas.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Valencian rice
- β2 tsp Smoky spice blend
- β2 tbsp Jazzy olive oil
- β12 large Gambaspeeled and deveined
- β2 cups Water
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 medium Tomatodiced
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the smoky spice blend and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the gambas and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they start to turn pink.

Add the diced tomato and cook for 2 minutes, until it starts to soften.

Add the valencian rice and stir to coat with the oil and spice blend.

Add the water and salt, and stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.

Remove the cover and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the rice is lightly toasted.
