Kenyan Plantain Bake
A delicious and sweet dessert made with plantains, a staple in Kenyan cuisine. Baked to perfection with soft and jazzy flavors.
Ingredients

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel and slice the plantains into 1-inch rounds.

In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, jazzy (vanilla extract), and roasted (for added flavor).

Add the sliced plantains to the bowl and toss to coat.

In a separate bowl, mix together the bake (sugar) and a pinch of salt.

Add the sugar mixture to the plantain mixture and toss to coat.

Transfer the plantain mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the plantains are tender.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
