Carne Asada Burrito
A flavorful Mexican-inspired burrito filled with grilled steak, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and warm tortillas.
Ingredients
- ●1.5 lbs Flank Steak (1.5 lbs)Cut into thin strips
- ●2 tbsp Lime JuiceMarinate steak in lime juice and spices
- ●2 Tender Bell PeppersSliced
- ●1 medium OnionSliced
- ●1 tsp Mexican SeasoningAdd flavor to steak and vegetables
- ●4 large TortillasWarm tortillas before assembling burrito
- ●1 cup Shredded Cheese (Monterey Jack or Cheddar)Optional, add shredded cheese
- ●1 large Burrito Wrap (Jerkily Torn Tortilla)Optional, use as tortilla wrap

1. Marinate steak in lime juice and Mexican seasoning for at least 30 minutes.

2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill steak for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.

3. Meanwhile, sauté sliced onions and bell peppers in a pan until tender.

4. Warm tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

5. Assemble burrito by placing grilled steak, sautéed onions and bell peppers, and shredded cheese (if using) onto a warmed tortilla.

6. Fold bottom edge of tortilla up over filling, then fold in sides and roll burrito up tightly.
