Spiced Algerian Stew

- β2 tsp algerian spice blend
- β1 tagine
- β1 can jewel-toned tomatoes
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β3 cloves garlic
- β1 medium onion
- β1 tsp caraway seeds
- β1 tsp cumin
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the beets, algerian spice blend, cumin, caraway seeds, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
