Jewelled Apricot Paratha
A sweet and savory flatbread filled with jewelled fruits and spices, perfect for a breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
- β1 sheet Indian Paratha
- β2 tbsp Apricot Jam
- β1/4 cup Jewelled Fruits (Candied), chopped
- β1 tsp Ghee or unsalted butter, melted
- β1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
- β1 tsp Powdered Sugar

Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Roll out the paratha sheet to a thin circle.

Spread the apricot jam evenly over the center of the paratha, leaving a 1-inch border.

Sprinkle the chopped jewelled fruits over the jam.

Drizzle the melted ghee or butter over the fruits.

Sprinkle cardamom powder and powdered sugar over the top.

Fold the 1-inch border over the filling to create a seal.

Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the paratha is golden brown and crispy.

Flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until the other side is also golden brown.
