Hearty Mushroom Stew
A comforting and flavorful stew made with tender mushrooms and a hint of Dutch spice, perfect for a chilly evening.
Ingredients
- β2 cups jovial mushroomsany variety
- β4 cups light vegetable brothhomemade or store-bought
- β2 tsp dutch mustardwhole-grain or honey mustard
- β1 tsp dutch spice blendpurchased or homemade mix
- β1 large onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 large stew potatoespeeled and cubed

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.
