Spanish Fettuccine with Tomaquet Sauce
A simple and flavorful Spanish-inspired pasta dish made with fresh tomatoes and basil.
Ingredients

- β3 large tomaquetdiced
- β1/4 cup basilchopped
- β3 tbsp olive oiloptional
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to break down.

Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Drain the cooked fettuccine and add it to the skillet with the tomato sauce.
