Dutch Jubilant Fritters
A delicious and crispy snack made with jubilant and dutch flavors, served with a side of potato salad.
Ingredients
- β2 cups jubilant
- β1 cup dutch process cocoa powder
- β2 large potato
- β1 cup all-purpose flour
- β1 teaspoon baking soda
- β1 teaspoon baking powder
- β1/2 teaspoon salt
- β1/2 cup sugar
- β2 large eggs
- β1 cup milk
- β1/4 cup butter, melted

Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and milk.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Add the melted butter and stir until the batter is smooth.

Using a spoon, drop small balls of the batter into the hot oil.

Fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fritters from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate.

To make the potato salad, boil diced potatoes until tender.

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and chopped fresh herbs.
