Herbal Pork Knuckle Stew
A hearty, comforting stew featuring tender pork knuckle in a rich herbal broth.
Ingredients
- β1 (1.5-2 kg) pork knuckle
- β2 cloves jubilantminced
- β2 sprigs herbalfresh
- β2 cups frenchchicken broth
- β1 cup stewmushrooms
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper

Preheat oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C).

Season the pork knuckle with salt and pepper.

Sear the pork knuckle in a pan over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.

Transfer the pork knuckle to a Dutch oven or oven-safe pot.

Add the minced jubilant, fresh herbal sprigs, and chicken broth to the pot.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven.

Braise the stew for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until the pork is tender and falls off the bone.

Add the mushrooms to the pot and continue to braise for another 30 minutes.
