Vietnamese Stir Fry
A quick and flavorful stir fry dish from Vietnam, made with juicy chicken, festive vegetables and stir-fried in a buttery sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound chicken breastcut into bite-sized pieces
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilfor stir-frying
- β2 tablespoons butterfor sauce
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 inch gingergrated
- β1 cup bell peppersliced
- β1 cup onionsliced
- β1 cup snow peastrimmed
- β2 tablespoons fish saucefor sauce
- β2 tablespoons soy saucefor sauce
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.

Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the snow peas to the skillet and cook until tender, about 2 minutes.

Return the chicken to the skillet and stir in the fish sauce and soy sauce.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Serve the stir fry hot, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
