Pan-Seared Pork Dumplings
A quick and delicious Chinese-inspired dish featuring juicy pork dumplings pan-seared to perfection.
Ingredients
- β1 pound porkground pork
- β20 dumplingshomemade or store-bought
- β1/2 cup vegetable oilfor pan-frying
- β2 tablespoons soy saucefor serving
- β1/4 cup chopped scallionsfor garnish
- β1 teaspoon sesame oilfor serving
- βto taste saltfor seasoning
- βto taste black pepperfor seasoning
Instructions

Heat 1/4 cup of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the pork to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Once the pork is browned, add the dumplings to the skillet and cook until they're golden brown on the bottom.

Add 1/2 cup of water to the skillet and cover with a lid.

Steam the dumplings for 5-7 minutes, or until they're cooked through.

Remove the lid and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown on the top.
