Ukrainian Goose Roast
A hearty and flavorful roast goose dish from Ukraine, perfect for special occasions. The crisp skin and juicy meat will impress your guests.

- ●1 cup cherry sauce juicystore-bought or homemade
- ●1 cup breadcrumbs crisp
- ●1 tsp paprika ukrainiansmoked or sweet
- ●1 medium onionchopped

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Rinse the goose and pat dry with paper towels.

Season the goose with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat some oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the goose until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the goose to a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Reduce the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) and continue roasting for another 30-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Baste the goose with cherry sauce during the last 10 minutes of roasting.
