Tunisian White Chicken and Sauerkraut Stir Fry
A flavorful and healthy stir fry made with juicy chicken, sauerkraut, and spices.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breastscut into bite-sized pieces
- β1 medium white onionsliced
- β2-3 Tunisian chili pepperssliced
- β1 cup sauerkrautdrained and rinsed
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β1 teaspoon ground cumin
- β1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- β salt and pepper

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the sliced onion and chili peppers to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the sauerkraut to the skillet and cook until it starts to caramelize, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and stir in the cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
