Turkish Kunefe Recipe
A traditional Turkish dessert made with crispy phyllo dough and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- ●1 package (usually 14-16 sheets) Phyllo dough
- ●1 cup, shredded Kunefe cheese
- ●1/4 cup, melted Unsalted butter
- ●1/4 cup Honey
- ●1/4 cup, chopped Pistachios
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Thaw the phyllo dough according to the package instructions.

Cut the phyllo dough into 4 equal pieces.

Place one piece of phyllo dough on a flat surface and brush with melted butter.

Repeat the process with the remaining phyllo dough pieces.

Place the kunefe cheese on top of the phyllo dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Fold the phyllo dough over the cheese to form a square shape.

Brush the top of the phyllo dough with melted butter.

Bake the kunefe for 20-25 minutes, or until the phyllo dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove the kunefe from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.

Drizzle the honey over the kunefe and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
