Suppli Italiani (Italian Fried Rice Balls)
A classic Italian snack made with fried risotto balls filled with mozzarella and tomato sauce. Perfect for a quick bite.
Ingredients

- β1/2 cup bechamel sauce
- β1/2 cup grated mozzarella
- β1/4 cup grated parmesan
- β1 eggs
- β1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Cook the risotto rice according to package instructions.

In a separate saucepan, heat the bechamel sauce over low heat.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked risotto rice, bechamel sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, and eggs. Mix well.

Add the flour to the mixture and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Divide the dough into small balls, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Heat about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
