Tofu Stir Fry
A simple and flavorful stir fry dish made with crispy tofu, crunchy vegetables, and a hint of soy sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 block, drained and cut into small cubes firm tofu
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- β1 medium, sliced onion
- β1 medium, sliced bell pepper
- β1 cup, sliced mushrooms
- β2 tablespoons soy sauce
- β2 cloves, minced garlic
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the tofu and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.

Add the sliced onion and bell pepper and cook until they start to soften, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the cooked tofu back into the skillet and stir in the soy sauce.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the tofu is well coated with the soy sauce.
