Pan-Seared Squid with Peppercorn Crust
A simple and flavorful dish featuring pan-seared squid with a crunchy peppercorn crust.
Ingredients

- ●1 tablespoon Black peppercornsFreshly ground
- ●2 cloves GarlicMinced
- ●1 Jalapeño peppersSliced

Rinse the squid tubes under cold water, pat dry with paper towels.

Season the squid with salt and set aside.

Grind the black peppercorns into a fine powder using a spice grinder or mortar and pestle.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet and swirl to coat.

Sear the squid tubes for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

Transfer the squid to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

Reduce heat to medium and add the minced garlic and sliced jalapeño peppers to the skillet.
