Stuffed Dolmades Recipe
A traditional Middle Eastern dish of grape leaves stuffed with a mixture of rice, meat, and spices.
Ingredients
- β12-15 leaves Grapevine leaves
- β1 cup Cooked rice
- β1/2 cup Ground beef
- β1/2 cup Chopped onion
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsley
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β1/2 tsp Allspice
- β2 tbsp Lemon juice

Rinse the grape leaves and remove the stems.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, ground beef, chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and allspice.

Mix well to combine.

Lay a grape leaf flat on a work surface, with the stem end facing you.

Place about 1 tablespoon of the rice mixture in the center of the grape leaf.

Fold the stem end over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the leaf into a neat package.

Repeat with the remaining grape leaves and filling.

Place the dolmades seam-side down in a steamer basket and steam for 20-25 minutes, or until the grape leaves are tender.

Serve warm with a squeeze of lemon juice.
