Borlotti Bean and Sweet German Gratin
A hearty, comforting dish featuring creamy sweet German potatoes, tender borlotti beans, and a rich gratin topping.
Ingredients

- β1 can Borlotti Beansdrained and rinsed
- β1 Onionschopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β4 slices Baconcrumbled
- β1/2 cup Grated Cheddar
- β1/4 cup Heavy Cream
- β Salt and Pepper

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Peel and thinly slice the sweet German potatoes.

In a large saucepan, combine the sliced potatoes and enough cold water to cover.

Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the crumbled bacon over medium heat until crispy.

Remove the cooked bacon from the skillet with a slotted spoon and set aside.
