Uruguayan Hake Bake
A simple and flavorful Uruguayan-inspired dish featuring hake baked with sweet and juicy flavors.
Ingredients
- β4 Hake fillets
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1/4 cup Chimichurri sauce
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsley
- β2 cloves Garlic
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1/2 tsp Black pepper
- β2 tbsp Lemon juice
- β1 slice Uruguayan sweet bread

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the hake fillets with salt and black pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a baking dish over medium heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the hake fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the hake is cooked through.

While the hake is baking, mix the chimichurri sauce and lemon juice in a small bowl.
